《The Love Chronicles》是優秀的典範節奏藍調。

Divine Brown的首張同名專輯代表著加拿大人對於節奏藍調的想像，如同同鄉Ray Robinson在2004年以《What It is》專輯帶給我們的期盼。《The Love Chronicles》繼承了那個時代的這個理想，像是飽含著美國影響的化外之民，從嚮往轉化成自身理想，打算清出一條依稀路。但時不我予，儘管天才Slakah the Beatchild加入《The Love Chronicles》的推進陣容，但前方雜草比荊棘更盛，加拿大人的前仆後繼遲遲找不到突破點，直到意外出了個Drake之後，差堪告慰。

別漏了Divine Brown的第三張專輯《Something Fresh》。
