【態勢】Mali - Mali is...
併入Sony旗下的RCA唱片藏了一位R&B歌手Mali，2013年年初發表單曲〈Ready Aim〉後，近期再集結另四首歌曲，以《Mali is...》的EP踏出戰戰兢兢的步履。
就主流唱片而言，《Mali is...》幾乎是沒有市場的作品，聽完五首歌曲，從排行榜中，應該找不到相呼應的同袍跟Mali舉手答「有」，這等情形讓出道時間不算短的Mali有點尷尬。
Mali使我想起2005年在Warner旗下Reprise唱片的創作人Tony Hussle（詳見本人所撰http://crotchery2.blogspot.tw/2011/12/tony-hussle-sexy-freaky-electric-come.html），原來大廠草草替簽約歌手發片是一種由來已久的事；或者，可以出版EP算是比取消發行來得有所成就（或糟蹋？）。
2002年，加拿大人Glenn Lewis在Epic唱片底下發行《World Outside My Window》後，2013年終於要推出第四張專輯《Moment of Truth》。中間有兩張專輯哪去了？這兩張專輯至今仍能在網路上找到完整全貌，然而不可抹滅的是，兩張專輯同樣也是毀在Epic和Underdog Entertainment兩大唱片廠牌之手。
再舉一例，Neo-Soul歌手Bilal的第二張專輯《Love for Sale》未發行，Interscope唱片更是難辭其疚，連宣傳片都廣發了......。
世道如斯，Mali自該有所省悟。

【南方】Jordan Rakei - Franklin's Room
澳洲音樂遺世成長，太多樂團太多人在這廣大土地修行，隨耳所聽盡是好物，邏輯與英美有所差異。布里斯班人Jordan Rakei花了一些時間整理所聽到的各種音樂匯成《Franklin's Room》一輯，我們無法將之定義成某種音樂類型，但簡單的說，他的歌曲幾乎是靈魂樂的再生（rivival），加入雷鬼後，便是一種嶄新音樂面貌。
有點John Legend洗盡鉛華之感。
