【MV】Quetzal Guerrero & Oveous Maximus - Day in the Life
Quetzal Guerrero，身上流著美國原住民（Aztec/Nahuatl）、巴西、墨西哥等血液，小時候受過正統的音樂訓練，2010年，在被Osunlade的唱片公司Yoruba Records簽下後，近日推出一張頗具質感的專輯，Now。
在這張專輯裡，我們可以感受到那細膩的、遠離喧囂的「心靈空間」，究竟是怎麼一回事。被世間事物糾纏的現代人，成為物質、非物質、人性、非人性的奴隸，這與其他也流著血液的動、植物，又有何不同之處呢？
Quetzal Guerrero藉著他的聲音、樂器（小提琴、吉他、鍵盤等等），傳達一份深刻的人性之美，不知你是否也感同身受呢？

本名Ove Salcedo的Oveous Maximus，多明尼加共合國的後裔，始終堅持用詩句表達其思緒。2009年，他發表了一張不易瞭解的專輯Future Intentions，2010年，接緒的The Iambic Moment，同樣是以音樂佐詩歌的手法，將「概念」集合推出。有點難嚼，但保證有意義。
Oveous Maximus也被Yoruba Records簽下，持續他的詩路。

非常好的一首單曲，由曾參與John Singleton執導電影Poetic Justice的電影原聲帶製作人之一的Derek "DOA" Allen所製作，品質是可以信賴的。
演唱人Darryl Moore是美國加州的一間獨立唱片公司SomeOthaShip Connect旗下音樂人。SomeOthaShip Connect是以Declaime aka Dudley Perkins與Georgia Anne Muldrow為首的集團，另外尚有Kadence、Quazadelic aka Stan Sly、Stacy Epps、Darryl Moore、Riff Raff、Oji，目前正朝著結合HipHop、Soul等新音樂形式目標邁進。
