2002年組團、2007年正式出道的Bad Rabbits（http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_Rabbits），讓我想起八零與九零之際的Living Colour（http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_Colour）；那種源自黑人原始爆發力的音樂型態，真教人耳朵為之豎立。

【感念】Donald Byrd

2011年，Mizell Brothers的Fonce Mizell離開人世。不到兩年，2013年2月，與他們長期合作傳奇爵士小號手Donald Byrd也去世，結束80年的生命。

Donald Byrd對於黑人音樂的影響不只在爵士樂界，我認為後來的節奏藍調與嘻哈也深受其益，儘管中文報導幾乎隻字未提（只見新浪全球新聞：http://dailynews.sina.com/bg/ent/music/sinacn/20130207/23314237372.html）。

生平不多述，且讓我們從音樂中遙祭這位大師。

前幾日，Osunlade抽出2013年新專輯《A Man with No Past Originating the Future》中的〈The Realm of Difference〉加入影像成為一道關懷：

我想起Osunlade曾提攜的晚輩好友Eric Roberson2001年《The Esoteric Movement》也有著一曲〈New Born Child〉，也許晚近黑人對於現世的關注不同於二、三十年前澎湃洶湧，即將過年之際，回頭看看這一年的我們的生活環境，讓我益加憂心於未來的孩子還能平穩度日嗎？平和的社會哪裡去了？
