千里達與美國混血的節奏藍調女聲India Shawn，2012年這張專輯至今聽來仍舊雋永。
「relevant, transparent, and exciting」，這是India對於《Origin》的貼切說詞；也是，反覆聆聽後，發覺她所寫的歌詞，很單純，與人、自然世界相和，不虛講愛戀，儼然遺世獨立風骨。
這使我想起Jennah Bell，她同在現場專輯《Live at Mother NY》，宣達的也是類似觀念，「什麼才是純粹的，足以讓聽眾和歌者反思的歌曲」，在此時此刻的台灣，更需要這種非直接陳述事實的音樂。
