有了孩子之後，壓縮了一些聽歌時間，幸好還有買CD的習慣，因此自然而然發展成這種模式：開車時聽CD（5天左右1張），幫小孩洗澡、哄睡時聽串流（每天約2張）。
穩定執行差不多約半年，加上執行前的摸索期，量的方面確實比先前少了至少一半，質的方面卻有所精進；原本1張CD聽2至3遍，現在差不多是4遍起跳。比較可惜的是，哄小孩睡覺的時會不小心跟著睡著，變成情境音樂。
買CD變成逼迫自己吸收音樂的手段，儘管無法大量萃取獨立音樂界的好聲音，至少還能好好維持著三十年來的聆聽習慣，也算忙碌生活的慰藉。
