【無解】André 3000 (of OutKast) - Prototype
上一個十年有無節奏藍調經典歌曲，我想大家可能莫衷一是。的確，節奏藍調走到現在，說它是半殘也不為過，因為我們心底偶爾浮現的歌曲，應該不脫上個世紀那些雋永之作。
現在就來註記個一首吧，雖然它出自於André 3000。
André 3000在OutKast鉅作Speakerboxxx/The Love Below的獨白Prototype，在黑人界走紅程度比它在眾多排行榜的成績還好，它的重要程度陸續受到許多歌手翻唱。
開場的「I hope that you're the one, If not, you are the prototype」道出男人心中的女性意涵（我愛妳，或我愛我心中存在的妳），以及那不斷繞耳的「I think I'm in love again」，詭異氣氛不啻為男性愛情哲學之傑作（是的，身為男人你該懂）。

【偎伴】Soul Mate by Ricky Jones & Raheem DeVaughn
Ricky Jones是九零年代摩城唱片公司旗下的三人男子合唱團體Yours Truly的一員，單飛之後的個人同名專輯依舊延續情歌路線，雖然不甚賣座但內容紮實豐碩。
十年之後，Ricky Jones在同為九零年代作手的製作人Keith Andes的搭配之下，推出了確實動人的情歌Soul Mate。（Keith Andes製作過：After 7、AZ Yet、En Vogue等人專輯）
這讓人不禁想起Raheem DeVaughn在有別於The Love Experience專輯正式版本，某一版本之中收錄了也是名為Soul Mate的情歌。兩首歌曲似乎都是滿情緒化的，不同在於Ricky Jones稍具內斂之風，Raheem DeVaughn則激動一些。或許與演唱人的年紀有些許干係。
